Established in 1986 by Budd and Maurice Van Roekel, Maurice Car'rie Winery is one of the first in the region and owns Temecula's oldest vineyard that was planted in 1968. We are located in the heart of southern California's premier wine country on 90 acres of land called the Van Roekel Estate, where our grapes are nurtured from vine to wine. No matter what you prefer, we are sure "You'll want a second glass."

Our 2019 Melange de Saignée is a delightful blend of all the juice bled from our red wine fermentaions. The result is crisp, slightly spicy and sweet panoply for the senses, with aromas of wild strawberry, sweet cherries and a hint of lime. The palate is refreshing balance of red fruit and sweetness, with a nice lingering finish that is deceptively dry. Pair with arugula and caprese salads, roasted vegetable linguini and paella. 

Our Rosé of Grenache was cold soaked on its skins for 72 hours, then gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel vessels. Tanltalizing aromas greet with the nose with watermelon, cucumber and strawberry lemonade. The palate is juicy and refreshing, bursting with red fruit and carried by a harmonious balance of acidity and sweetness. Pair with mindly sweet or spicy dishes like butter chicken, saag paneer and jasmine rice.

Our 2021 Rosé of Pinot Noir wine opens with a bouquet of watermelon, plum, and floral notes. On the palate, earthy undertones and zesty spice complement the dominant fresh strawberry flavors. Pair with thyme, roasted chicken, gouda cheese, grilled salmon, and salads.

Refreshing and slightly sweet, opening on the nose with aromas of rhubarb, red cherry and earthy red fruit. Decadent on the palate with flavors of strawberry jam and tart cherries that lead to a long, savory finish. Perfect with spring salads and funky cheeses!
